These fine brass finished dials feature corner ornamentation, a silver coloured number ring and raised Arabic numerals. Dials are fitted directly to the movement with mounting plates and pins, and are slotted at the three o'clock position for the chime silencing/selection levers.

The lunar disc, driven by a cog on the handshaft, shows the lunar month and takes 29-1/2 days to complete a half revolution (the time it takes the moon to rise from behind one hemisphere and disappear behind the other).
